Sucks.. but it's the nature of the industry - everyone knocks off everybody else since you can't really copyright the work. At my shop we install so many body kits and it seems almost everytime it's a knock off kit that we have to modify significantly to make fit or it just won't fit.
Everyone's lookin' for the "best deal" but it seems they all get shorted on quality. Half the time we have to tell the customer to send the body kit back.
There are very few reputable shops in the industry. At CEG we've experienced being screwed by all sorts of companies and people - and these companies/people prey on niches like us.
We've all learned, that's why many of the current CEGers who have been here for a while question newcommers offering new products. The younger/newer CEGers don't care or don't know so ya can't blame them and again these companies know that there is a whole new market that's unsuspecting.

I know if I had my own bodykit business I might want to advertise my product if I spend all the time and $ to R&D it. Nah I'll keep it a secret.
