It's behind the P/S reservoir exactly where the PCM is mounted.

The majority of the wiring is the same between the two.

The only real difference for us is the S-AFC II has a smaller display and does not look as good. (both display and unit)

I personally would recommend the S-AFC over the S-AFC II. It is cheaper, does the exact same thing, and has a much better display and controls.

The whole arguement over 8 NE points, 12 points, 40 points, 1000 points, etc is all pointless.

The PCM itself only uses 10 points and can generate a perfectly flat A/F curve. The stock spacing is between 500-1000rpm.
Any extra changes are just ignored because the rpm climbs past them so fast they are rendered moot.

Think of it this way.
4 seconds to go through 6000rpm - 1500rpm per second
4 seconds to go through 4000rpm - 1000rpm per second
6 seconds to go through 3000rpm - 500rpm per second

That's 0-90mph or "almost" the 1/4 mile for most folks.

Ok so have another question. I instaled the safc on tuesday and now i dont know if it is because of the unit or something else but every 4 or 5 seconds my car just revs up around 500 rpm at idle and then you can feel it rev even while i am driving. any help would be greatly appreciated

And i know that it is a hotwire maf but after that it has a screen that has in and out and then numbers underneth them. what do i need to set those numbers at?

Should be in 1 out 1.

All the pertinent info is in the How-To I wrote.

And like I said in the PM I sent you the thing shouldn't be doing ANYTHING funky to your idle with the settings set at zero on the air adjustments!
