i bought a car because i loved the drive, 60 to 80 in no time smooth ride.... basicly a dream car to me with the 4 doors... i love my contour... now though, im sitting here at home, with the keys to my sisters 91 ford ranger that will no go above 65 without shaking, no working rear view mirrors... its horrid.... this is the 4th time my car has been out of commision 1: brakes went out 2 weeks after buying it 2: o2 sensor, no big deal but i wont touch it, that would void the warrenty 3: (may 21st and 2nd it was in the shop) had to get half the passenger side suspention replaced 4: today took it in because the drivers side is doing what the passenger wass.... any idias on what i should do... i found a few nice cars when i was pissed off and test driving today... the one that really stood out though was a 2000 lincoln LS for 15K that car had everything

Chit thats notin. 1. Purchased dec 05. 2. replaced engine in january. 3. replaced tranny main shaft in feburary. 4. has needed tranny sence march. But damn I love this car. And I am stuck with a 87 chevy silvarado 350 long box. Eats gas like a tank. Drives like a turd. Has no spedo.

ok, still mad... ford couldnt find anything wrong with the driver side (big shocker huh, if you live in utah dont take your car to butterfield service center) but at least i got in my car... it goes more then 80 miles an hour ... anyways it was my B-day and i was bored so the brilliant thought "test drive" goes through my head... if anyone here has anything bad to say about the 04/05 nissan altima please say it... i fell in love with the car... the lincoln ls is nothing in comparison... though the corvette i decided to race (knowing he would kill me) toasted me... but hey a 3.5L V-6 with an optionall intercooler... i want that car

I got something bad to say about a Altima. No, not really but the maxima is only $5k more. Way better car too.

The only bad things I could stay about the Altima or the Maxima are the new car payments and depreciation. The Maxima is nice. Dont know if I would want to be facing down another five years though. A house payment would seem better for me. Stay away from Westland too. Id rather deal with the problem then hand them the keys.

No Butterfield. Check. No Westland. Check. Where do I take my car once I'm in UT? Sorry to hear about your car, buddy. A lot of the problems sound like maintenence things. Brakes wear, struts wear, O2 sensors give up the ghost. If the tranny or engine went (phatty... ) I'd be pretty pissed.

SRT-4 It has manual rear windows, but after hitting the gas one time, you forget about that
