What the hay-billy-day be! At 80k & recent rear replacement, the brakes squeal when I'm doing 70 mph. No sounds when braking. What gives?

The same thing happened wit my dad's 98 SE. He got the rear pads replaced and they would always squeal. When we took it back to the shop that did the work they said the aftermarket pads they were using did not have an exact fit. They got dealer pads instead and that solved the problem.

Could try some brake-quiet on the back of those pads too. Dunno if thats the problem though.

Sounds like your rear pads are draggin a little and they dont' have any lub on the back of the pad to prevent the vibration.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
