I have a 2000 Mystique MTX 2.5 nonsvt duratec v6. when raining out, seemsl like in anygear, when driving at a constant speed,it feels like the engine is going to quit but then it regains again. it's like a little lurch. it happens every once in a while. especially when i give it a little gas from going a constant speed. anyone know what the problem is? i know my dad's 2000 chevy 2500 truck does the same thing sometimes. is water getting in anywhere? anyone else have these problems? i have driven though puddles in parking lots and nothing happens so i don't get it.

yes but there is no speaking or wining sound, and it doesn't stall and battery light does not go on. going through puddles doesn't phase the car either. just when driving while it's raining out it studders a little but nothing drastic.
