hi getting a new to me 1998 mystique ls sport on wednesday. it has a stock am/fm cassette(non premium i think)radio. i have been looking on ebay for a factory am/fm cdplayer and i assume that a deck from a contour will fit. it seems(at least on ebay)that these deck are not readily available(search found 2 today) my question is what model year factory cd deck will fit my mystique and also what other ford factory models and years will fit?(taurus/sable/escort etc.) also can a premium deck work in a non premium car? thanks,jeff
Don't bother! The "premium" cd player requires the "premium" amp. After you find all this, you'll spend over $100. For $100, you can get an aftermarket CD player that surpases the quality of the factory CD player.
