damn 19's? i did'nt know mtx zetec's were that slow aren't some mtx zetecers running low 16's w/ few bolt ons?

Actually, I don't see why they couldn't race on the street. It's only illegal if you exceed the speed limit, right? I'm sure they could decide on a winner long before that were to happen. 
edit: OK, I'll be nice... the Contour should definitely win.... eventually.

NOT TRUE! I got a drag racing ticket I'm still paying for, because the cop said I was drag racing. I DID NOT EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT EATHER! Total cost: 850 dollars. It's crap I know, but I couldn't ween my way out of it.

It's ironic that you mention that. Yesterday one of my friends got pulled over while driving MY car for taking off too quick. We barely even had traction yet and the cop already had his lights on. The verdict? Careless driving

we set the date...memorial day saturday. i am actually installing my Superchip on thursday. gonna have it tuned at Xtreme 2nerz. not dyno tuned, but good enough for this race. i have been doing some searching and have come acroos instances where zetecers with a Superchip were getting 600+ miles per tank, so i think its worth it to pay the price of premium...

most of them were cougar and focus zetecers...lemmie see if i can find the link...
nevermind...i just did some research on one of the contour posters, and he is not worth trusing anyway according to many others...ill just leave it at that.
so i should expect upwards of 400 or right around there? thats about the same as what im getting right now...(around 380 or so if i take 'er easy...)

My Zetec Contour has smoked a few Honduh Civics (upto speed limit... the honduh owner can think he won, im not gettin pulled over for street racing... Speed limit was 55, and i was pretty good distance before i let off the gas and he was goin about 70... I would love to take my tour to a track... see how she really performs
