I installed rousch springs on my car about 4 months ago following up with an alignment a month after installation. I had a camber kit installed a year ago for the same problem im having now which is the inside of the tires wearing. the camber, toe, and caster are all within spec. this weekend i rotated the tires and noticed the insides worn again except this time its more feathered like a toe problem. i put it on the alignment rack and everything was within spec including SAI angle. im just wondering if theres some other spec i should use besides the one programed in the computer for a 98 contour se. i have a 98 svt. just wondering if anyone else has the same problems even tho its been aligned properly

What is your actual camber readings. I believe that the outer limit of spec can bee too much negative camber. You need to get it down to something less than 1.0 negative camber, preferably closer to .5. I set mine to nearly 0 for optimal tire wear and it worked, but I'm sure that handling has suffered.

I think that most SVT owners would find a reading of about .5 to .7 negative camber would be a reasonable compromise.

If you have readings up nearly 1.5 negative camber you will be wearing tires.

Also chech to make sure your control arm bushings are not worn and saging.

Jay,

where did you get the Roush springs? I thought they have been sold out of those for at least a year.
