I put a set on over 50K miles ago and they held up fine. I did an alignment after completing this and strut/spring replacement. I just sold my 'tour with over 155K miles and it was driving great. No alignment or tire wear issues. You need to drill the rivets out of the old balljoints from underneath so make sure you can get the front end up high enough to get your drill under the control arm. (Do pilot holes first... ) IIRC,BAT provided an instruction sheet with the balljoints. This is a tough job, but it would probably cost a fortune to have a shop do the work. Good Luck!!

I have never had any problems with anything I've bought from BAT (I've spent probably $500 or so on stuff from them). I don't need control arm ball joints right now (or atleast not really need them) but I do need outer tie rod ends which I'll be ordering from them pretty soon.

A lot of what they sell is OEM parts from Europe. Should be fine.
OTOH, you might get the same parts cheaper from Signature Lincoln Mercury(Steve Mullins, formerly Bill Jenkins) or Fordpartsonline.
Function before fashion.

Bill posted on here about a month ago that he has been promoted out of that position, but that he is working with his replacement on dealing with us good CEG'rs. Look for a post about a month back and you can read it...
EDIT: Uhhhh...its actually stickied right above this: "Moving up in the world..."

Did the search and found it. Would explain everything! Must be crazy busy, cause I have yet to get an answer from him.
