I'm looking for an amp to power either one or two Sony Xplod 10's. The RMS rating is 150 watts. I still haven't decided if I want to use one or two of them. I may be able to get them free from work because of a recall on these subs. If they do not need to be returned to Ford or Sony, they would be scrapped.

I was wondering if bridging a 4-channel amp into 2 channels would work for running 2 subs.

Here's a few amps I am considering:

for 1 10:
Pioneer GMX552
Kenwood KAC6295
Lightning Audio B.150.2
I looked at all the specs on these in the Crutchfield catalog and they all put out 150 RMS in bridged mode.

for 2 10's:
Lightning Audio B.300.4-150x2 bridged
Sony XM1502SX-150x2 normal hookup
Profile 440SX-150x2 bridged
Profile 600SX-150x2 normal hookup

Any opinions?
