So the weather is warming up and I've decided it's time to attempt some minor body work. My Tour has developed some nasty scars over the winter and I'd like to make her look pretty again. It's safe to say I'm no expert when it comes to these types of repairs, but I'm more than willing to give it a go. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Now for the real test, insert the pics I took of the infected area.

EDIT: Resized big A$$ pictures.

at least you got to it before it got through the body. sand it down with a n orbital sander. sterize it with rubbing alchohol, prime and and paint it with your paint gun. or if you want it to look professional, take it to your local body shop after you have sanded it and have them match it. but im no expert either

Yeah my rear fenders looks something like that. I'll do something about it when it gets warmer and do a better job than I did last year, so that the paint will actually bond to the metal this time. I also have the priveldge of having to do some spots on the front fenders as well this spring.

Yeah I really suggest you remove your plastic liner and, esp in your case clean the spots where your rust are. You'll prolly find "deertay"...Dirt. Isn't there a 5 year 100 on corrosion on the contour?
