Whats all involved in installing a solenoid pack? Dunno spelling on solenoid but its for my transmission sorry kinda newbieish dunno where it even is......... someone told me my solenoid pack must be acting up once they felt my tranny problem..........

To answer this question please state year of car, ATX or MTX and engine size.

from what I can find out it's inside the tranny. part #11 Valve body Solenoid The solenoid valve body assembly contains the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor, as well as five powertrain control module (PCM)-controlled output devices: electronic pressure control (EPC) solenoid shift solenoid No. 1 (SS1) sift solenoid No. 2 (SS2) 3-2 timing/coast clutch solenoid (3-2 T/CCS) torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid

Remove you battery tray and battery. remove you valve body body cover (pan) -its right there embedded in your VB. A couple hour job-I am currently doing a VB swap and shift kit install-will have some pics up and a write up done in a week or so.

Do you know how its embedded in there will I need to take a screw driver along or a wrench or does it like pop out?
