Well , not exactally. Im really enticed by the Chrysler/Maserati TC. Its looks similar to a LaBaron , but with a much better front end. It has I believe a Maserati built powerplant of decent power , a damn fine Maserati interior , and Maserati insignia all over it , its available in the US, and its front wheel drive (winter car) probably cheap on insurance. Unfortunately I believe I didnt put the site I found in my favorites, however these two are examples

Unfortunately is the price , which seems high , however that one was a very low milage car. But I am thouroughly enticed. What do you guys think or feel about the car?

TC had only one option other than color; the buyer could choose the either the Turbo II with automatic (detuned to 160hp) or the 200 hp twin cam 16 valve 2.2 with a 5- speed. Everything else was standard: Pasubio leather interior, power-everything, anti-lock brakes, 8 speaker Infinity stereo, a 'Haartz fabric' softtop with headliner and a fiberglass hardtop. An Infinity CD player was a dealer installed option.

Just give me your money and I will burn it for you. I suppose if you were buying it for the sole purpose of hoping 30-40 years from now it would be a colllector's item I might be able to support you, otherwise avoid it like a fat chick with herpes...

One of Forbe's magazines ten worst cars of all time!

There were a whopping 52 service bulletins (many requiring recalls) for this bastard-child car born of an unfortunate need by Maserati for ready cash and Chrysler's willingness to turn a LeBaron into a Maserati. Not only was a 3.0-liter V-6 a criminal concept for a supposed Italian exotic (putting out a pathetic 141 horsepower), but so was the American sheetmetal. Then there were the many mechanical nightmares from blown clutches and engines to leaking roofs. This car cost double the sticker on the LeBaron and broke twice as often. After all, it was Italian, right?

and you would think that after pouring all kinds of money into a car you love just to keep it on the road you would have learned your lesson! Well I haven't yet either. It's over 100K miles old and I have 2 payment left! Have you look at the Mazda 3?

Not all dependable cars are overpriced, you just have to know where to look, there have been a few threads that have touched on this but the general consensus on cheap used cars that are reliable and somewhat late model seems to produce:
