I installed an Injen intake/filter kit on my d-tec. I seem to get better performance on part throttle accell than at WOT. Before it was the opposite. Any suggestions?
(2.5inch exhaust, pcm has been reset)

Hmmm, that's interesting. My only guess, if your SURE that ur getting better accel on half throttle, would be that the Injen could be confusing your MAF, and when you are on part throttle, the MAF is sending power as if you were WOT. Doesn't make much sense to me, could your secondaries somehow be kicking in early?

Play with it under the hood via the throttle cable and see what sounds/situations come up.

Secondaries don't open until 4k rpm or so, so they can not be tricked.

Its still pretty cool up here, not more than 10 degrees celcius. I installed a diablo chip, bottom end feels better but I'm losing some around 4500-5500.

IMRC have been know to be prone to head damage...it is possible that the IMRC is not opening the throttle plates dur to heat damage.


Also, you may want to make sure that all of your secondaries are opening.

Turns out i had this problem, only half were opending becasue the little white clip that connects the bar to open both set of secondaries was broken and i was only getting half of my normal top end.


Check that out too.
