im looking for 2 12's and an amp to power them up.
but since a lot of you guys seem to know a lot about this stuff, can you guys recommend some nice equipment?
i rather have more SQ then SPL, but i do want the beat to be nice and strong. and it would be nice if the bass can be heard from a pretty decent distance away.
i dont really care for brandname, i just dont want any garbage that wont perform the way it is said to perform.

MarshlMathrs posted a topic of good deals on car audio, and he listed some pretty good sites. i checked them out and these looked pretty decent to me. but i dont really know that much, so please help out

HI,

I would avoid those subs they have a paper cone not a poly cone. Paper tends to bottom out because it is not as stiff as poly and most likely you will end up blowing them. How much are you looking to spend.

An amp that can handle between 350-500 watts would be fine and either i really good 12" like the cervin vega 124 sub or any of the subs that can handle a good rms rating of 300 to 400 watts would be fine.

I have the polk dx128 they sound great and hit really nice. Inifinity, cervin, rockford, mtx, polk all make good subs.

For me this is just personal opinion but I always like the rockford amps. Either the 360a2 or the 500a2 would do you find. You could get both amps for under 300.00
