Can anyone recommend some places to get this done at? I'd even be fine with someone's house. Doesn't matter. I just want to get it done affordably and correctly. Dealer (Skalnek) wants about $320 ($187 parts/$133 labor) for one front bearing or $640 obviously for both fronts. They say it's both, but it only makes noise driving straight and turning right. Goes back to normal quiet when turning left. They also say that I need the whole assembly and not just the bearing(s) part so my parts will cost more than double what it seems like they should cost!

Called them up and spoke to "Mike". Quoted me $180 parts and labor for one front. And they're open on Sat 8:30 3:00. Sweet!! I'm taking it in this Sat morning. I'll let everyone know how it went. Thx, Judge!
Not to take business from Doug's, but are there any other recommendations from people just in case anyone in the future needs a good place to go and they don't live nearby. Central or west side place? Where does everyone go? I'm fortunate in this case.

These must be uber-bearings or something, last time I had my bearings changed the bearings were like $30 each and labor was about 1.5 hours each. $60/hour x 1.5 hours + $30 = $120 each.

It is kind of a [censored] to change a bearing, you have to take the knuckle off and press the bearing in. So from that I would think it is a 2 hour job... $78 dollars an hour labor and a 30 dollar part (give or take) there is your 186/7 dollars.
