Hello CEGers.
Is Wal-Mart ATF, or automotive oil, worth using? Is it that much worse than Valvoline or (probably more equal) Chevron?
Thanks for the input.

Well they all have to meet certain standards, it is just a matter of what one exceeded those standards and uses better chemicals in their fluid. I use Vavloine ATF, cost like $2.79 a quart at Advance Auto Parts, work great.

I got the wal mart ATF to run though my transaxle then flush out, then put some Valvoline in, I noticed there are less airbubbles in the Valvoline, and the walmart brand had LOTS of airbubbles in it, and the Valvoline had a richer look, Walmart brand was more dull...

The Wal-Mart oils and fluids under the SuperTech label meet every domestic auto manufacturer's specifications.
The engine oils, in particular, have posted OA test results equal to or superior many of the national retail oils.
You can pay more for something "better", if you want to, it's your money.
