With the AC on and at highway speeds, it feels like the engine revs up slightly and begins to accelerate then deccelerate all by itself, continously. For lack of a better discription, it feels like if you had the cruise control on and you were on a hilly road, except i don't have the cruise control on..cuz it doesn't work . Any suggestion? Also, everytime i start the car, i hear a rattling noise coming from the left side fo teh engine compartment. I hear the same rattling noise whenever i launch from 1st gear at low rpms. If i put some rpms on teh engine before releasing the clutch pedal, the sound is gone. Suggestions?

Your AC system is low on charge and the pump is cycling excessively. Get it recharged ASAP or you will wreck your compressor. Donā??t let anyone adjust your pressure switch to fix it.

This could be moosing, also, judging by your description. Maybe you aren't describing what I think you are, but this sounds like my moosing problem awhile back. Look in the HOW-TO at the TH fix. If this isn't your problem, nevermind. But mine would only moose with the AC on, and it would surge. Does this describe your problem accurately?
