I was changing the air filter but i accidentally broke two of the straps at the back of the air filter box. The rest seems to be secured and I tried revving the engine with the hood open to see if there's any pop up. It seems to be fine.

Just wondering if it's a major problem. The design of the air filter box is really bad by the way.

I hear you. Somehow one of my clips decided abandon me and my car. I suppose I have to go to the stealership and see If I gan get a replacement without buying the whole unit.

I had the same problem. I found a large tie-wrap works well to hold the two halves of the airbox together snugly.
