I used to have a ton of wheel hop with my kuhmos and stock svt springs. Now i have noticed with eibachs and continental contiextreme contacts that I barely have any wheel hop. I think the tires are awesome and they even work great in the snow. yeah, they dont grip quite as well as the kuhmos but the trade off for versatility is well worth it. I guess tire choice makes a big difference in wheel hop and maybe the springs helped too. I dont peel out much but now I dont have to worry so much when it happens.

The less grip the less the wheel hop and tendency for it.

However the less traction too, both lateral and straight line.

Definitely less lateral grip but for my kind of driving I can still have a lot of fun. If I had the money for winters and summer tires I would probably do that but then again I would have to get a quaife also. Being a student in college I would say I am lucky enough to own a SVT. At least I dont have to worry about wheel hop as much anymore and the risk of blowing the diff again (luckily under warranty). Wheel hop is the most annoying when spinning the tires was unintended.
