Im getting a new CSVT and the previous owner said the cats are gutted, Just wondering what kind of power gains its worth on a one of these cars.

Numbers thrown around are 10-15 HP. Realistically I think it may be up to 7 hp. Either way free HP got to love it.

Precats or main cat? For the precats, I'd say 5hp, maybe a little more. If its the main cat, I doubt there is any gain.

i would gut the precats only. Gutting the main cat would just decrease exhaust velocity. Or just replace it with a resonator.
