106K miles. A dealer is confirming today, and will come back with an estimate that I will most likely turn down. Whats the best way to get rid of this car? Donation, scrap, Monster Garage style (I wish), etc.?

If its still insured has fire and theft make it burn or disappear!

That is the same thing that couple in hamtramak said after they hit that circuit court judge. They took their neon, set it on fire.. reported it stolen and thought they would be scott-free, until they got busted. Arsen, filing a false felony report and vehicular manslaughter... almost worth it for a couple thousand dollars on a insurance claim I think.

No, no, I'm not going to jail insurance fraud.
The dealer confirmed that the engine is dead. They want 5k to replace. I might have considered it for around 2K.
If I donated it would I get do I get back money from taxes? I'm not really sure how that works.

There are some places that gives you cash... i am not sure offhand... If you donate it, you would have to claim it on your taxes as a donation, which would mean you have to file the long form... which I am not a big fan of, but if you already do that.. then you are golden.

Go junkyard shopping. Get an engine out of a tour that was wrecked at say 20k or so, then put the new one in yourself.
Or try Ebay.

Easier said than done. Since he has a 95, he'd need to find a 95 v6 Engine.
Otherwise it would require much more work.
