Just sitting here pondering the future....Let's face it, they're not making Contours anymore. And, at the rate some of us are running the wheels off of them, (and some of us are running them off the road (No offense Striped SVT/Barge)) some day there won't be enough Contours to satisfy all of us enthusiasts. What will we do then???

I don't much mind sticking with FoMoCo, but is it considered a natural progression to "step up" to a Focus? I just can't seem to embrace the styling of that machine.

Besides price and performance, the Contour (Yes the STOCK Contour) just has "the look."

How 'bout the rest of you? What's your next car? What about the far distant future? Do you see youself slipping your aged, arthritic bones behind the wheel of, perhaps a Lincoln Town Car? That's a Ford, you know!

Well John-David and I took a test drive in an '04 Mustang Cobra the other day. Now THAT'S a car I can readily imagine myself tooling around town in .

How 'bout it, J-D? Is that a natural progression. or what???

It's only paper 'til you spend it.

I've always seen a Lincoln LS as a natural step up for me. I figure someday i'd pick up a used one, i see it as everything my car is just better.

Go test drive a SVT Focus... You'll forget about what ever visual short comings you may perceive.

I was set on a Zx3 focus...but i couldent find a decent one for less than 6-7K.... And i couldent see myself in the hole that much for a focus. If the prices were cheaper i would have one right now, but i found another car already.
