It's becoming very clear to me lately that I need to either start driving this thing or sell it. For the longest time I thought I'd add some performance mods, but I'm just not seeing the point anymore. I added a stereo system and wheels, but it just seems that my garage space and money could be put to better use. Are there actually people out there that are willing to pay $10,000 plus for these cars?

well, probably, but the car either has 10,000 miles on it, or the person doesn't know how to tie their own shoelaces( dumb as a box of rocks.)

It has less than 10,000 miles on it.

Wow.. Got any pics of the stereo, and do you have the stock radio and rims as well? Send me a PM if you're serious about selling.

The GT1s are bar none the best looking wheels on an SVT. Very nice. A little expensive though.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Part of me wants to go ahead and do some serious mods on the car. But looking at others dynos keeps me from being very enthusiastic. It just seems like a lot of money spent for lukewarm results.
I do absolutely love the SVT though. I think it's more pride than anything else. On top of that, it's an extremely rare Tropic Green 2000. I'm thinking down the road that I'll regret it if I sell it.
On the other hand, there are some very nicely priced E36 M3s that could hold me over til I get an E46.
Ahh...decisions, decisions.

You know, some of you guys baffle me. On the one hand, folks are so ready to tout how great a car the SVT is. And then on the other hand, paying 10k for a 2000 SVT seems out of the realm of reality.
If it were me selling mine, I would ask for 12k. minimum. And I think it's worth every penny. My .02.
