Is that the same station that has the car wash? I love that station.
Yes it is, and yes they do it all
All eh? Hand washed, or some cheap automatic machine, my contour deserves the finest
(Or at least hand dried... and car comes out nice and shiny like I spent 3,4 hours washing and waxing it...)

I got gas yesterday at Costco and it was $1.75 and $1.90 for premium. My wife went up there in the afternoon and the regular went from $1.75 to $1.88 and premium from $1.90 to $2.03. The only thing you can really do is make sure your car is running right and make sure your tires are inflated correctly, every little bit helps Hang in there and it will blow over like it did back in 2000!

Sorry to burst your bubble but this time, it will not blow over like in 2000. Given growing consumption of oil, insufficient refinery capacity, increasingly stringent EPA fuel blending regulations, and the war on terror (i.e., speculative overbidding on oil due to threat of disruptions), more expensive gas is going to be a permanent fixture in our lives from now on. We will likely see a certain amount of price drop after peak summer driving but don't expect too much of a rollback.

In 1981 gas was $1.41, and in today's money that's $2.90. Source: Story in Detroit News.

I remember in the 90's, when I lived in NC, gasoline was around $0.80 for reg, and i think the highest was $0.97 for 93 octane, I wish that was here...

Because of people like that, is why I have scratches around my gas door and a broken notch for the fuel door release. Ever try and get a new fuel door release at a junkyard? I have, and it failed miserably. This happened over a year ago and i still havent found a way to get that notch out of a junkyard car.
