Am i right in thinking you must use the MSDS Y pipe with the headers?? I've just installed the Bat Y pipe and i am very pleased with the performance and sound,the MSDS Y pipe looks like the stock one with that nasty bend,are there any headers that will work with the bat y pipe without welding and or modification?? Thanks for any help......Thanks to Ronan for sending me the video clip-now i NEED headers!!!

The stock Y as well as the BAT and other will work with headers.

Even NO Y-pipe at all will work wonderfully.

For the U.K. ers out there, how are we on emissions after installing the MSDS headers / y-pipe?

Mondeo V6 - you thinking of ordering some? we might save some postage / blag a discount ordering together? Am thinking about in the next couple of months. THis could be an expensive bug to get?

Generally - Is a UIM / LIM / Throttle body upgrade preferable to Headers on a standard V6?

Recently installed Exhaust & K&N and I'm thinking I need to reset the computer, doesn't have the same change in pull
when the secondaries open, or maybe it just breaths better
before they open.

There's too much info in this group thanks guys.

Headers replace the pre-cat is the manifolds. If yours are so equipped.

You would fail a visual inspection for the pre-catalysts and you would probably also fail a start up emissions test. If either of those apply.


You would easily pass a rolling (dyno) emissions test without them.
