I found a slightly better deal on a Quaife than the Torsen (even with the shims...which, as it turns out, I didn't need ), so that determined what I bought. Either LSD would have suited me well, as I'm not a bigtime racer. Happy with Spec 1. Happy with Fidanza. Happy with upgraded shift forks.

I love everything I did... I finally got to really test it out, and it was all quite fun. The LSD is a must mod...pulling into and out of turns is amazing, and launching feels much better. And the 4.5 final drive anfd short gearing is quite fun too...
99 Cougar V6 MTX...Plenty of mods
My best mod thus far:
Trans: Brand New MTX-75 with B1 gear set, Quaife LSD, 4.5 Final Drive, Spec Stage 1 Clutch, Spec Aluminum Flywheel...

You don't want to know :P Actually, I'm not even sure. It was sold to me second-hand from Dustyn, supposedly a RAM clutch (it's a six-puck springless design) but it was stamped with a different manufacturer name, can't remember who it was, but it was a three letter abreviation, TCR? ACT? Something like that. It's not too bad, I get a little chatter, and it grips good, so it'll do until it wears out. Then I'll probably just get a stock SVT clutch. I hear those are just dandy for the driving I do, which would include spirited sprints and a few launches off the line at red lights.
