Does anyone have a Proflow MAF calibrator that I could somehow use for a bit? I am having some bad running conditions, and I have replaced anything it could have been on the engine, and both o2 sensors are coming up lean, which says to me that it has to be my Proflow MAF, but I can't seem to get a hold of them to recalibrate it. Anyway, is there any chance I could pay S+H, and throw a few bux in there as well, and use a someone's tuner? I live in Colorado, zip is 80120 if anyone needs shipping estimate. Thanks, any help is appreciated - Chris

The tuner would have to stay connected to the car to be of any use.

If you've had the MAF for only a short time they should recal it for free... oherwise it will be 100 bucks I believe.

No, on their site it states that they have a Tuner that doesnt stay on, you are talking about the Optimizer. The tuner plugs between to change the a/f ratio, then unplugs from what I have read.

Which tuner are you talking about? The MAF optimizer?? If so, it needs to be connected at all times.

Argh, I don't mean to be short, but no it's not the Optimizer. If it was the optimizer, Audiboy already has informed me has one for sale and that would be the end of it. It is a tuner that.... let me just give you guys the link. Tuner and the Calibrator . i believe that both do not require to be inline permanently for them to change the settings.

The calibrator is like a newer better model of the optimizer with 2 potentiometers, one for low speed and one for high. This will need to remain pluged in at all times.

The tuner works with your laptop and as the description says you can self tune the MAF for injector changes and general tuning at different voltage points.

Bro read the freakin link. The optimizer does not have to be permantly installed .
I would let you use my program, but its a maftuner. Sorry. That calibrator hasn't been around for very long, so problay no one on here will have one. Like stated before it $100 to re-tune through them. But if you have friend with a maf tuner, you could always plug your maf, into his car/tuner, and attempt to make some adjustment that you think would suite your car better, than switch it back. I never tried but it may work.

Ya, I could attempt that. I can't think of anyone who has one, except my old DSM buddies, but I dont know. See the problem is that the previous owner had the Proflow installed and the CEL has been on ever since, only now it's too late to get a free recalibration... Grrr.. I just need to get this thing running properly before I decide to invest in some serious cash for headers/ypipe. Is your MAF tuner like a laptop program? I have a laptop, if I could use someone's program and hook up for a day or two to just set it right, then send them back.
