Hey yall, I remember a post from a while back about someone who was recycling their cabin air filters using soap and water. Just curious if anyone has any experience with it, since $22 per pop for a cabin air filter is getting ridiculous =[
Thanks

Useless, those are MICRON air filters. A micron is a unit of length (1 millionth of a meter) The particles that get trapped in there are so small I doubt cleansing will free them, or in fact wont just clog up the pores with filth from the water rinse...tiny particles of lime & calcium.
Plus the media is made of paper, so rinsing will only cause it to collapse on that small level and you might actually get less airflow than before.
Just put down $22 or do what I do, and remove it. It's just a useless gizmo anyway. Everytime you open a window or a door you defeat it.
