What are the best pads, and what kind do i need for the front? I went to advanced auto and they had a few, but of course they were out. What size do I need? Thanks

This really belongs on the brake forum and a search there would get you a wealth of information as to different opinions of which brake pad is best.

Before buying anything, you should confirm which size pad you need. The catalogs are WRONG! If you have a 98.5 there is a good chance that you need the same pad as the non SVT. I suggest that you download the BAT catalog (or at least the brake portion) and study the pictures of the two different pad styles. www.batinc.net

Once you've got your size pads figured out (even if you have to pull off a wheel to check for sure) try to contact Stazi for his quote on the pads you need.
