It's not out of the realm of possibility for me to record each episode I watch on TV with my ATI tv card, but the quality would be so far below that of a true DVD.

I almost wonder if Jerry Seinfeld is holding out and not letting them make the DVD set...it really doesn't make sense, because these should have been out a long time ago!

I like the show, but I'm slowly watching less of the re-runs. Some of the episodes just rub me the wrong way, especially when George is doing something embarassing.
I feel so uncomfortable and embarassed for him sometimes, that I change the channel until that scene is over.
lol I usually don't get that wrapped up in a tv show.

The Seinfeld compilation is in pre-production for DVD as we speak. There was a lot of legal battles over royalties with the release. The only two original contracts that stipulated royalties would be given were Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David (co-creators). None of the other cast members were contracted to receive any type of royalty from the deal. Apparently they felt the need to include the commentaries and documentaries of the characters in the DVD set so there has been a re-negotiation and ALL characters from the series will participate and ALL will receive negotiated royalties.

My guess is the set won't be released for another year but I have heard MAYBE by the end of this year.

In Living Color just came out!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Absolutely love how all the characters are slef absorbed about there own lives. The characters never changed, always stayed single and no kids were ever involved.

The show stayed fresh and interesting due to the creativity of larry David and Seinfeld!

Very well said. I agree. Even though I've seen every episode, I hate the odd day that I miss it on TV.
