Regardless, Tillman left millions of dollars to support his country and do what he believed was right, in return only receiving roughly $19,000/yr...crumbs of bread compared to what he had the opportunity to make in the NFL. What a sad sack of feces. It's obviously true that newspapers will print absolutely anything these days; this is usually doubly-true with University papers. My experience reading them during my college days had me wondering if the local psychiatric ward occasionally staged raids into the journalism department and siezed the printing press for orgies of abysmally idiotic and insanely childish writing excercises.
The New York Times may try to claim that it contains "all the news that's fit to print" but this paper needs to emblazon it's circulation with the title "all the news that smells like s**t and somehow makes it to print" as it's earned that moniker after running that piece.
Furthermore, how did this Neanderthal make it into a UMass grad program writing tripe like this?

Agreed...this crap just boils my blood and makes me want to choke someone. I've got a feeling this fool is going to have a very rough time for his duration in that school.
I hope it's a time where he is scared to come out of his dorm room and walk the streets in fear of being killed of hurt badly. Maybe then he will realize the exact reason men and women put their lives on the line everyday for this country.
