Picked up my '01 S4 Avant on Friday. Nogaro Blue, 8200 miles. Drove it back to Wisconsin from Conn. Great roadtrip in a great car. Going to miss the SVT but I needed to simplify my life and get back to 2 cars so... anyone interested in a 99 CSVT or a 91 Audi Coupe Quattro? Sorry, I'm keeping the 68 Stang.

Hey Krause I'm in the market for an Audi S4 2001, I'm very jealous, can you PM some feedback in the next few days. I go for my test drive of the S4 on Wednesday, but I test drove the new A4 3.0 quattro and what a beautiful car. Now I don't know should I spend and extra 10k and buy a new 2002 A4 3.0 or buy a 2001 or even a 2000 S4. Any feedback will be apprieciated.

The urQuattro's, I think are 1983-85. Getting very rare and expensive- probably $15-20k for a really nice one. Mine is a 91, only 446 in the States, it has a 'rounder' look to it. 20v 5cyl, 165hp. very nice shape- great in the winter- nothing like Quattro with a good set of snows, feels like you're rally driving. If you want pics I can pm to you.

Where about in WI are you....only reason I ask is that there is MN audi club that you may be interested in. I think there are plans to go to Rock Falls for the drags during the spring/summer. Thinking about any mods yet? http://www.mnaudi.com/

I'll wait on the mods. Thing is fast enough stock. I know a couple guys in the MN Audi group. I am more of a road course guy so am pretty active in the Quattro Club- they run a couple dozen track events a year. I'll be at Brainerd in May and a few others through out the summer.

I'd love to have a S4 Avant. Beautiful and practical. I will be looking for a wagon in the next few months but unfortunately I don't think a S4 will be in my budget. I'll probably end up with a WRX (not too bad though). I wish others would build/send over wagons. I wonder if Mitsubishi would ever make a wagon version of the EVO or a E36 M3 wagon would also be great fun.

Have fun with your new toy.
