When I replaced the valve-cover gasket, the check engine light turned off. Don't know why that would trigger it off. Might have had something to do with the hose from the air-cleaner compartment that runs to the valve cover. I couldn't figure out how to open the little box in the air cleaner compartment where the hose terminates so I just cleaned around it, especially the underside. That part was dirty.
Any ideas? Also, did someone post that a block of styrofoam is the object in the air filter compartment box?
