Hey guys, I need a new main cat. My old one is.. well..

Where can I find a good replacement? Been searching, haven't found anything solid.. gotta do this myself, so nothing hard to install.

Gut it. When you get around to finding an OEM y-pipe, the do the swap.

Sounds like a problem to me. (emissions)

From what I hear cats are pretty expensive for these guys, and I know you have already spent a pretty penny on your car so far.

You can not buy any used cats from a junk yard around us, but I will keep my eyes out for one.

Good lord...buy a high flow 2.5" unit from Stazi. Cut the old one off at the flange..have muffler shop weld new 2.5" piping onto flange (watch them and have them just enlarge it enough to fit snug into flange, then weld and be sure they smooth the weld on the inside)...then weld new hi-flo cat onto new pipe...weld flange on other side...and conntect up tp old cat back. Very easy...trust me..I did mine...

Then look on CTA's website (classifieds...links). I know they were selling a SVT cat for $110 if I recall. Look in the used parts.
