I need to build up the courage to do that. My painting skills are not that great, thats why I used vinyl instead of paint.

I like that much better...I'd rather get rid of the chrome on the back then paint the reflector so this looks like the way to go. Now maybe u can stick an SVT on that mystique emblem.

eyelids look good too

Honestly, I hate all rear lights on any car that are attached.... I like pre-98 trunk lids alot better, 2 single rear lights... I always hated 1 single large long light.. on any car, never ever liked it..... alot of newer cars are doing it now.

Sure I can help, drop me a PM, I am only about 30 min from you. Took me less than 30 min for both. What I did is use clear tape and trace the top line. Once I had that I made the template. The only thing is that I need to redo them. My headlamps have a lot of pitting I found after the vinyl heated up in the sun and set better (does not look near as smooth as when I first did them. Now I am going to just sand them down, then redo the eyebrows.

Your trunklid swap is nice! I happen to actually hate the SVT trunklid..I could live with it obviously, but, any day I would throw a pre-98 on the rear end shall I ever own an SVT. Still, the Mystique trunklid makes for a cleaner look and I hand some props of orginality to you

I find the mysty reflector to be more square and muscular and suits an SVT rear bumper more, which is funny considering it's supposed to be more luxury looking.

...and now theres two of us I know theres a couple others out there that have had the center reflector sitting around, but your the second one to do it and post the pics, congrats because on the black car it looks REAL good! The thing that you really see in the pic is how much better the Mystique licence plate area looks compared to the Contour, its not even close IMO. Hope to see it inperson at SZ04'

TheStripedSVT is the one that helped me get going on this. I have a friend with a 98 Mystique and I always liked the reflector on it. Not once did I ever think about putting it on my car until I saw it on TheStripedSVT's car.

I would love to, but I have not even given it any thought with buying a new house. I get in the new house May 28th, so I am not sure how my weekend before is going to be like.
