Well, bad planning on my part. I have next week off and I need new brakes (rotors and pads) in a hurry. Anyone know of a trusty shop in the NW who might have appropriate parts in stock for my SVT?
I want to get Stazi's Bendix pads and rotors, but there may not be time, I'm already grinding metal on metal.
I don't want any Ford pads, they dust too much, and for the last 10k, they haven't been performing well.
Thanks Kerry

I realize this isn't quite your question, but if you have a week and want to, you could do it yourself. I don't know if you can buy the autospeciality rotors that Stazi uses, but you can get boring, new Ford rotors. Nothing exciting, but they'll work for the time being. Also, you should be able to buy the Bendix Titanium pads that Stazi uses. I don't know what auto parts stores you have up in BC, but I would call around asking about those pads for your car. If not, you might be able to cross the border and find some here in WA. Again, try calling around to find places that carry them.
As for brake shops, I can't help you too much, considering I'm a 7 hour drive away. Sorry about that, I hope the above helps. And if you are worried about time or difficulty, I did my brakes in 2 days, and it only took that long because I got the rotors turned and had to wait a long time. Its a job that, if you buy new rotors, will take an afternoon.

Any luck with those brakes? I'm fresh out of parts sources as my good friend Chris is fresh out of a shop! I might even be able to help you Friday or Saturday morning before the meet. I have all the tools in my garage. Let me know!

Hey Mike, thanks, I should be OK.
I ordered some rotors and pads from Stazi earlier in the week. I think I can manage my trip to Seattle with minimal front pads (the inner pad completely gone, the outer pads lots left).
Just get outta my way, I don't stop!
Nah, seriously, it stops fine.
