This is a bit different than the other hard shifting thread. I have a 98 Mystique with Duratec and ATX at almost 80K. I took her to the stealership to get tires rotated, power steering flush,fuel injectors cleaned etc. After about a half an hour of driving after I got her back I noticed that the transmission was shifting really really rough....as in shaking the car rough. I checked the fluid and it was fine. The fluid is also new. I did a drain and fill in October and then again last Saturday.
Shifting is not just rough in lower gears. Pretty much every time it shifted it was really rough. But the lower gears are the roughest. I don't have a CEL or OD light on. Trannie always shifts but its just rough as hell.
I think the stealership may have messed something up. The computer was reset while she was there (I noticed the clock had been reset to zero). When I take her back there tomarrow
is there anything specific I should ask them to check? Could this be the TSS sensor (I hope so,I was planning to change it anyway)? Any input would be much appreciated.
