Very bad situation
while trying to see was the speedometer problem caused by my speed sensor, I went ahaid, got under the car found the speed sensor and removed it.
It looks pretty long and consists of 2 parts: plastic long thing that comes along with a metal thing that has wires attached to it.
Well when putting the plastic thing back, and aiming for the reqtangular opening while doing it liying down, not really seeing whats going on, the plastic thing falls on the side where there was no support, meaning it just falls into my mtx transmission and you say bye bye to it. After draining the fluid in hopes it would change anything I was able to lift it up with my finger but not pull it out. Then it fell even further and I believe thats the end of the story
Now what are the suggestions about getting it out?
Anyone ever chaged the sensor themselves?
opening is about 1 inch wide, so I could stick only one finger in there in hopes of removing the plastic thing out, but it went even deeper and it is somewhere in the transmission now.
1.already tried sucking it out with a vaccum didn't help b/c no idea if its reachable.
anyone got pictures of mtx transmission blueprints? I already looked at Ford CD.
