Has anyone ever had or heard Cerwin Vega subs in car audio use. I have them in home theatre use and am very satisfied with them. Wondering how they sound in the tours before I nab some.

They make a very good product, from there base woofer to the stroker which is competition and requires tons of power. It all depends on the amount of money from experience of friends of mine you can get some good woofers like the strokers and a few steps below those and some pretty poor quality with the entry level stuff.

The Cerwin Vega Vega's are crap. I hate them so much. I used to work for Best Buy (not the most reliable place I know) and they sold for $200/piece (our cost was $75). I knew people who had them in their cars and they fed them propper power from clean amps and they blew. Those were the subs that came back the most on service plans.

I had them once and they lasted so long and sounded so good and so punchy!!!!!!!
I feel so bad they got stolen!
They were my favorite subs.
Now I have the kenwood's dual bandpass enclosure. and I haven't had the chance to try them. Any body familiar with this?

a couple of my friends had them, and they lasted until they sold with no problems. sounded great, they both had fifteens, my brother is actually getting one now, he just burnt his Polk Audio DX12. thats what happens when you push 710 watts continous and play a bass cd, it ws litterally smoking. those subs are quite nice and i plan on getting two vega fifteens this summer. seriously are good subs. nice lows and extreme car rattling.
