Ford and GM have agreed to work together to develop a new 6 speed ATX that will be used by both companys in models starting as early as 2006.

Ford will be getting the most benefit since GM makes the best/most reliable auto trannies between the two companies, hands down.

Could you just imagine a nice SVT with... grand am side cladding.

Actually though, they've been getting better. Bob Lutz is doing a good job. I may be a little biased though, he has my last name.
