3 questions, First the most important, On the front of the SVT Contours the chrome oval ring with the ford logo in the middle, how do you remove the black grille, i want to replace it with a silver mesh one, like the ones in the march car of the month contest. It looks like it may have to be cut out, what do i use? can it be ordered without the middle center piece, question 2, When thats all said and done whats the best way to fasten the new silver mesh grille ? question 3, I removed the lower grilles, on the front and rear of my car, whats the best way to fasten those in ? Thanks for all the help.

It's installed with heat stakes, so you can use an iron to undo the stakes or just cut it. Once I was sure of what I wanted to do, I would just cut it. If you think you would ever want to undo the mod, I would learn to use a heat iron to melt the joint without destroying the grille. This way you can use epoxy to reinstall the mesh if so desired.

No

I would use epoxy in the same area where the heat stakes were.

I used a u-nut and bolt at each tap used by the factory grille.
