I get 20 MPG with about 60% city driving, the rest highway. My car sees full throttle redline shifts at least 4 times a day! I've gotten 30 MPG on a trip up north, with the cruise set at 80.

I was referring to the "how-to clean your UIM/LIM" FAQs on the main page .

cleaning w/o removal

cleaning & rebuild

I figured as much, just helping out newer people that might stumble across this Some people get confused enough as it is

I get about 250 mi to the tank and about 23 mi/gal driving about 50% highway 50% city. I would say you can do better than 20 mi/gal but it all depends on how and where you drive.

I ran it dry once: just a red c*** hair over 400 miles. Usually It's ~325 when it reads deep into 'E', but I always fill before 300.

specs say
MPG CITY: 21MPG
Highway 30-31MPG

You can find this information on autos.msn.com or www.fueleconomy.gov

as for your 20 MPG, Id say if thats all city driving thats not to bad. but if thats your highway, id say something's wrong, lol. IM guessing its your city, so we will leave it at that.

full throttle EVERY light.

I get 170miles to the tank, and I fill up 12 gallons. It SUCKS.

But, I need to do a complete UIM/LIM cleaning, need to change plugs (still on original set), change wires, etc.

But with the rebuild in site, I just deal. . .

WOW...

After reading these posts.. I decided to not take MY car over 3K at all..

Well

I normally got this:

11.9-12 gallons=
245-260 miles..
70% long distance highways, etc
(OUCH, I know..)

I filled up this time and haven't opened the secondaries once... I am at 190 miles, for half a tank... WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!! WOW.. I can't live driving that way ALL the time.. but it DOES help if you need it...
