Is there a way to get my '00 CSVT to 200 WHP or really close to. I did a search and couldn't find anything definite. Whats the best route to go? Is there a proven route that gets you to 200 or so?

Thanks

P&P for the heads should get you there. If not, darn close. Tuning is implied.

Get a 3 liter Duratec block from Rick (Buckshot). Or go down the street to Street Flight in Mesa and get yourself a turbo system from them.
200 WHP is possible, read my sig. Most 3.0's are pushing 195 WHP or better. FI'ed cars are getting more, both 2.5's and 3.0's.

I should also have stated "bolt-ons implied" as well.

Without going to a 3L. All the bolt ons with some Ported and polished heads and then some tuning to go with it? It seems like the TQ will be low if I did that. Somewhere around 200HP but only 160 FT-LB. MMMMMMMMMM sounds like I'm going to have to go 3L then.

Thanks guys.

Demon SVT got 200+ FWHP from an internally stock 2.5L But he had done about everything from extra Extrude Honing of UIM, removed LIM butterflies, big t.body, lots of careful port matching, headers, true duals, and lots of time in tuning his Tweecer enhanced EEC (and MORE)...

Unless you are quite capable, it will be hard to reproduce his work but 2 or 3 people have surpassed 190 FWHP with careful bolt ons..and with P&P and 3L valves it should be doable.

You could be the first to try Cat Cams! It is unknown how much power they will produce and how steetable this setup would be, but it does have potential!
