Well unfortunately, my CSVT crapped out on ebay. Only got up to $4,000. That kinda sucked. Well its up for sale again, and i have made the price even more affordable and low. What do you guys think i should do? My car needs new tires really bad. Should i attempt to sell it a lower price and let them know the tires are bad, or should i replace them and include the cost back in the price, and sell it that way? I was thinking like $5,000 without the new tires and like $5400 after brand new tires and an alignment. Any selling tips out there for me? Thanks.

Havent you ever read any of those tips on how to sell a used car? The one thing listed is have new tires if needed, it gives the buyer the knowing that they wont have to buy them for a while. Secondly wash and wax your car, clean the interior up really nice to. Make sure it has a recent oil change, coolant is green, tranny fluid is red/pinkish whatever you call it. If you have maitiance records that helps a ton as well.
If people pay attention to things I listed and they find the fluids are new then they assume it was well taken care of, so go out and get new tires/alignment on the thing.

I am sure I bid on it just to help you out. Anyway I sell / rebuild cars on the side.
Under 100,000 miles sell for over $5,000 for every 10,000 miles under that you should be able to get 500 more so (this is just a guide of what I see) 90,000 miles = $5,500 80,000 miles = $6,000 70,000 miles = $6,500 60,000 miles = $7,000 50,000 miles = $7,500 and so on.
Now this is for a car with no mod thats clean a bit of wear and if it super clean brand new tires clutch water pump wire plugs you add a bit more.
I have a clean 98 for sale for $4,550 71,900 miles but it has a rebuilt title....So I adjust the price.

Do NOT put on tires! Tell the buyer you're aware the car needs tires and you are pricing the car accordingly. That allows the buyer to the purchase the specific tire he or she may desire which will probably not be the ones you install. Think of all the choices, there is no way to buy THE tire for an unknown buyer.
Plus, when shopping a used car, it's inexcuseable for the seller to slap on a set of Pep Boy's junkers just for the sake of "new tires" and subsequently charging full price. Now the buyer has the prospect of living with crap rubber with no funds for replacement if he/she purchases your car.
Save yourself the outlay of cash and make the new owner happy by allowing him to pick the shoes.

Word. I've seen SVT's with crap tires! Pisses me off. If you can't afford to put the proper rubber on then don't buy the car!

I presume you took the stereo equipment out. Take it back to stock as much as possible that will increase your target market. Post the SVT Certificate too.
Tires. That's a tough one. If it needs tire REALLY bad, replace them - even if its with good used tires that match, or some Pep-Boyz cheapies.
Advertise locally as well as on Ebay. Post an SVT add on college campus & HS bulletin boards in your vicinity. Don't forget to post in Ebay that you reserve the right to pull the auction if the car sells locally for cash.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
