I am having a problem with my local area network on battlefield 1942. I cannot see my friend and he cannot see me. We are both using the same key...that didnt work, then i put in some other keys...that didn't work. My security settings are NULL....

Sorry , I play BF1942 alot , but Im not sure how to solve youre problem since it seems to be more technical. Maybe you could find a BF1942 message board and ask around.

Are you using a pirated version, or retail?

I know that with the pirated version you can only interact with people running servers that accept that.

I'm not sure if that helps any, just something I ran into awhile back.

Also, try checking for the latest patches, and make sure you are both running the same one.
