Just wondering if anyone has converted a pre 98 car to SVT front brakes. I have a line on a great deal for a set of front SVT calipers. Any advice?

You don't need SVT calipers. The later SVT's use the same caliper as all the other regular Contiques and Cougars. What you'll want are the later SVT caliper brackets to fit the larger 278 mm rotors. I believe the Cougars also use this bracket and the 278mm rotors as well.

Look near the bottom of this page:
CEG Modifications and Parts

BAT's Contour catalog has some info on the caliper changes that took place. British American Transfer

The main CEG page is chock full of good stuff.
