whatsup all...
i currently have a pair of polk dx7's up front in my 99 svt and some old BA 5 1/4s in back hooked up to a clarion 5675 cd player... i'm thinking about ditching the old BA's and getting another set of dx7's and hooking them all up to a 4 channel amp. is this a good idea or would i be better off buying a sub and 3 channel amp, or a set of components up front. If I do decide to go with 4 dx7s and an amp, what kind of amp should i get? xtant? mtx? ppi? and how much power should i look for 50w or 75w per channel? Thanks for any help or advice.

Depends on what you are looking for. I would probably say that Xtant would be overkill for those speakers. PPI and MTX products are on www.ubid.com often. You can get some really good deals. There has been a 5 channel MTX amp on www.ubid.com that may interest you. It's about the same price as a 4 channel amp and gives you a 100 watts or so to send to a subwoofer.
