For when I do get this amp and subs, I have a few questions about it?
Does it shorten the life of the alternator and battery by a lot, like will it fail soon after getting it installed?
Secondly will I be able to shut off the amp and subs and just have the speakers inside going, or will the subs be on all the time?
thanks

Not sure about the other stuff, but on my Alpine head unit, you can turn the subs on and off.

If your head unit doesn't have an amp turn on/off option, your amp may have a gain adjuster that will allow you to turn it on or off or your other option (which is quite simple) would be to wire a switch up in parallel with the amp turn on lead.

if the cabin speakers are going to be run off the hu, and the sub off an amp then just wire in a switch to the remote turnon

I agree, I have done several installs like that and it works great.

Since he decided not to get the stuff, I'm gonna change the topic real quick. I think I may have asked this before, but can't remember. Anyways,,, can I tap into the remote wire for my indiglo gauges to run off of it , it will of course still be connected to my amp. Does it carry enough power to run the indiglos?

A system with as little power as yours will not affect the life of the alternator. And it should have very little effect if any on the battery life. If your the type who continuously turns off your car and listens to the radio for long periods of time and drains the battery down to barely enough power to start your car....then you will hurt your battery life.

probably not. and you'd most likely be introducing some noise into the system as well. you could do it via relay if you really wanted to though.
