Anyone out there know of a mechanic in the DC Metro area who does the dash repair kit on 99/2000 Contours? My dealer wants more than I want to pay, and am hoping to find someone who does repair on the side. Thanks. John
Find an upholstery or car interior repair shop! That's all the dealer would do!

I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
Andy: Thanks for the reply. I have checked with the upholstery shops in my town, and none have done the repair. My Ford dealer does not farm it out, they have a tech that does it.
